Scheduling

The only service that is bookable by clients are virtual consultations which must be paid upon booking. All new or none frequent clients are required to have a consultation performed prior to a service date in order to assess your hair and ensure that the best solution and time allotment is rendered for your situation. The service appointment will not take place the day of the consultation. If service is booked during consultation, the consultation fee is applied to deposit for service. Recurring appointments are only allowed in increments of weekly and biweekly and must be adhered to in order to remain a recurring client. You must be able to attend and/or compensate for all appointments in order to be a recurring client.

Please note that most appointments are based on the base service and additional services could potentially be needed. The time it takes to perform the service could vary per client. However, your service provider will do the very best to render sufficient and efficient results in a timely manner. Please do not have any time constraints on the day of your appointment. Though we respect your time, the nature of the services cannot be rushed but will be rendered in reasonable time. Thank you for your patience and understanding.

Please be advised that any appointments booked outside of regular business hours are subject to automatic gratuity and/or a special accommodation fee. The cost varies according to day and/or time.

Payments

  • Recurrent clients must pay for all base appointments by the fifth of each month. This is considered a non refundable and non transferable retainer and/or deposit. Add on services will be paid for on the date of service. A late fee of $100 will be enforced if your beauty bill isn’t paid by the close of the 5th of the month.
  • Nonrecurrent guests with up to date consultations must pay for base appointment upon booking. Please refer to consultations for consultation details.
  • Prices are none negotiable, all payments are none refundable, and all sales are final.
  • A credit card on file is required and must be turned on in order to collect funds for additional services. Please note that failure to do so could result in forfeiture of service appointment.
  • Recurrent Client Payment Instructions – Log into your account, go to your appointments, pay for each individual appointment for that month. Be sure to take care of all appointments for the month. Note that failing to do so by the deadline will result in the late fee.

Cancellations

For recurring clients: If you have are not present for your appointment, note that you are still responsible for that slot and will not be refunded your deposit/retainer fee. If the schedule allows, you can reschedule within the same week or month depending on your recurring appointments and stylist availability.

For none recurring guests: If you have paid for your base service or made a deposit but need to cancel prior to your service date, please note that it is your responsibility to do so through the system and you would need to do so in a timely manner in order to avoid late cancellation fees. The system (Styleseat) cancellation policy applies to this. Please have your account set up in order to have access to your appointments and manage your cancellations. Your stylist will not manage appointments outside of booking.

It will be a very rare case that your stylist cancels. However, in the event that is the case, your retainer can be credited to your following beauty bill or you may be refunded. Any schedule adjustments that need to be made on your stylist’s end will be made in ample time if possible.

Consultations

All new clients must have a consultation performed prior to service. Note that depending on how long it has been since you last consulted or had a service, you may be required to consult again prior to service. All consultations are virtual and must be prepaid. A link for the consultation will be sent to the email on file. Be sure that the information on file is correct and/or up to date. Please have your hair in a state that can be properly assessed or at least have photos of the current state. For example: Hair needs to be able to be seen if covered or in a protective style. Have your inspiration styles ready to present during consult. If you are looking to book, please note that your beauty professional could be booked out and turnaround time for initial appointment could possibly take some time.

FAQS

What is a Demi?

It is a color service that isn’t permanent but last longer than a semipermanent color

Why aren't some services bookable?

Some services require consultation and/or deposit.

Why doesn't anyone answer the phone?

Due to high volume, I am usually with a client. As a result, the best way to reach me is via email, which I check frequently and can get back with you in a more timely fashion.

Why do appointments have to be booked online?

To alleviate the stresses of phone tag and time constraints, online booking is more feasible and it allows 24 hour booking to be available.

Why can't you text?

It is best to communicate via email to keep all messages in one spot so that no message is overlooked. I don’t see the sms messages when they are sent.

Why is an address not listed?

I work in a multi-use facility and for the privacy of myself and clients, work by appointment only. Not having the address publicly displayed reduces attempted walk-ins and other interruptions. This allows me to tend to my clients uninterrupted.
